How to set up DMARC for Vision6 in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for Vision6 and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your Vision6 emails

To setup DKIM for your Vision6 emails, you need to add the following CNAME record in your DNS:

Name: v6dk1._domainkey.example.com

Type: CNAME

Value: dkim.v6send.net

Afterwards, you can complete your DKIM set up with your specific DKIM record that you can find in your Vision6 deliverability settings page. You will need to be logged into your Vision6 account, in order to access the DKIM setup article.

NOTE: If you manage you domain in Valimail, you will need to add the CNAME DKIM key on your domain's configuration page in the Valimail platform.
