How to set up email authentication for Reloadify

Updated over 5 months ago
Supports SPF alignment: Yes (dedicated subdomain)
Supports DKIM alignment: Yes

DMARC requires the domain in the “From” address of the email (what the recipient sees) to match the information authenticated by SPF or DKIM. This is called DMARC alignment.

Certain email service providers require bulk email-sending domains to authenticate their emails with both SPF and DKIM, in addition to configuring one of these authentication methods for DMARC alignment. You can read more about these bulk sender requirements here.

Configure email authentication for Reloadify

To start setting up email authentication you will first need to verify your domain.

To Validate the domain name please follow the steps below:

In the app, navigate to ' settings ' (this option is almost at the bottom) and then click on "authentication".

Here you will see five DNS records.

Relodify Console Page

These five CNAME records need to be added to your DNS data of your domain provider. In our example we use TransIP for this.

Go to your domain provider, in this example TransIP, and log in. You will see your DNS data there. Here you can choose to add new CNAMES. Copy the first CNAME links from Reloadify.

Now add this CNAME to your domain provider and the value on the right under Value.

Repeat this step until you have added all five CNAMES to your domain provider.

It will look something like this.

Example of the DNS page with the relevant Records.

The top CNAME is validated in two steps. After you have filled everything in at your domain provider, click the ' Validate CNAMES ' button in Reloadify. You will see that the value of the top CNAME has been adjusted.

Relodify console page that shows the validations status of the CNAME records published

Above the CNAMES there is also a message that an update must take place. The new value of the top CNAME must then be updated again at your domain provider. Once you have entered this value, click on ' Validate CNAMES ' for the last time in Reloadify.
