How to set up DMARC for Extole in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for Extole and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your Extole emails

In order to set up DMARC/DKIM, you will need to request DKIM keys from Extole and the following will be provided to you to put into your DNS. Once added, contact Extole so they can validate and approve the keys.

emXXXX.CompanyName.com 86400 IN CNAME CompanyName.em.extole.io

xtl._domainkey.CompanyName.com 86400 IN CNAME CompanyName.xtl.extole.io

xtl2._domainkey.CompanyName.com 86400 IN CNAME CompanyName.xtl2.extole.io
