How to set up DMARC for Zoho Cliq in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for Zoho Cliq and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your Zoho Cliq emails

Configure your custom email

  1. Navigate to Admin Panel.

  2. Under Customization select Emailers.

Step1

In the Custom Email screen, under Step 1 fill in the display name and email address you want and click on the Save button.

Step 2

The second step is to verify your email domain. All you have to do is copy the values displayed on the screen, enter them under CNAME records in your DNS hosting provider and save it, come back to Cliq and click on Verify.

NOTE: If you manage you domain in Valimail, you will need to add the DKIM key on your domain's configuration page in the Valimail platform.

Step 3

The final step is to verify DKIM. This is for email authentication and also to prevent spam and spoofing. This procedure is similar to the previous domain verifying method. You will have to copy the values on screen and configure it under TXT record in your DNS hosting provider.
