How to set up DMARC for Vtiger in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for Vtiger and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your Vtiger emails

1. Login to the admin Vtiger CRM panel.

2. Click on Dashboard and go to Settings.

3. Navigate to the Email Settings on the settings page.

4. Click on the Edit option in the top right corner of the page.

5. Scroll down to the sender authentication domain section.

6. Click on the View button besides your domain tab.

7. Copy the DKIM record and add it to your DNS.

Note: If you manage you domain in Valimail, you will need to add the DKIM key on your domain's configuration page in the Valimail platform.
