SPF(supported) / (dedicated subdomain)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for Outreach Systems Neoserra and how they are managed in Valimail Enforce. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your Outreach Systems Neoserra emails

In order to allow Neoserra to send emails that look like they came from your email servers, we recommend that you set up custom DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) authentication for your domain and include Neoserra in your Sender Policy Frameworks (SPF) record. Both are necessary because SPF uses rule sets to determine authorized IP addresses from which you will be sending emails and DKIM uses public key cryptography to authenticate individual email messages.

To set up DKIM in Outreach Systems Neoserra for your domain, you must add the following CNAME DKIM key on your domain's Configuration page in Valimail Enforce:

DKIM Selector: osc1

CNAME Value: osc1._domainkey.outreachsystems.com.

Once you added the CNAME DKIM key and added Outreach Systems Neoserra in your Enabled Sender list, please contact OutreachSystems so that we can clear all email addresses that were rejected because they could not be authenticated.
