How to set up DMARC for Exact Online in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for Exact Online and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your Exact Online emails

  1. Go to Company name -> Master Data -> Data management -> Email domains.

  2. The Overview | Company email domains page displays the domains of registered users and company email addresses.

  3. Add and validate at least one email address for the domain you want to configure.

  4. Next to the domains you see the different statuses. Refer to the section below for more information about statuses.

  5. Your company's IT administrator must configure the correct DKIM records in the portal of your domain hosting provider.

NOTE: If you manage you domain in Valimail, you will need to add the DKIM key/s on your domain's configuration page in the Valimail platform.
