How to set up DMARC for Innovative Interfaces in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(not supported)

This article covers the SPF authentication process for Innovative Interfaces and how it's managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

At present time, Innovative Interfaces does not support DKIM signing for custom domains.

Configuring SPF authentication for your Innovative Interfaces emails

Once you establish that Innovative Interfaces is an authorized sender for your domain, you will need to add the service in your Enabled Senders.

You will find more detailed information on how to add a service for your domain in Valimail, here:

NOTE: In the case of Innovative Interfaces, this vendor supplies each customer with a custom set of IPs, therefore the best way to authenticate SPF on this is to actually add those specific IPs to the Netblocks and associate them with Innovative Interfaces, rather than adding Innovative Interfaces to the Enabled Senders list.

Note: We encourage you to use the comment section for any useful information about your sending service, such as the name of the service owner, change request ticket numbers, etc.
