How to set up DMARC for Cool Life CRM in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for Cool Life CRM and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Cool Life CRM leverages Mandrill's SPF and DKIM infrastructure.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your Cool Life CRM emails

To setup DKIM for your Cool Life CRM emails, please add a TXT record in the DNS with the following attributes:

Name: mandrill._domainkey.yourdomain.com (just replace yourdomain.com with the domain you're setting up).

Type: TXT

Value: v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADCBiQKBgQCrLHiExVd55zd/IQ/J/mRwSRMAocV/hMB3jXwaHH36d9NaVynQFYV8NaWi69c1veUtRzGt7yAioXqLj7Z4TeEUoOLgrKsn8YnckGs9i3B3tVFB+Ch/4mPhXWiNfNdynHWBcPcbJ8kjEQ2U8y78dHZj1YeRXXVvWob2OaKynO8/lQIDAQAB;
