How to set up DMARC for iVvy in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for iVvy and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your iVvy emails

  1. Navigate to Global Settings -> Marketing -> Authorized Domains.

  2. Click 'Add Domain'

  3. Add in your email domain. This is simply the text that appears after the @ in your email address.
For example, the domain for [email protected] is ivvy.com.

  4. Click 'Save'.

  5. Select your domain and click 'Verify'.

  6. The details required to update your SPF will be provided, as well as DKIM DNS records. Once you have set these up, click 'Verify'. iVvy will automatically verify that the settings are correct, and will highlight any sections that still require action.

Once the above steps have been completed, any emails sent on your behalf from iVvy will be safely sent to your client's inboxes.
