How to set up DMARC for KingHost in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for KingHost and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your KingHost emails

Configuring domains for use in Email Marketing

When accessing the Email Marketing dashboard home screen, select the system administration area in the top right corner.

In the administrative area, click on the Summary tab , where you will be presented with the necessary DNS settings for the new domain to work.

Domain Ownership Verification

To use a domain through Email Marketing, you must prove that you control the domain entered in the tool. This is done by checking a TXT record in the DNS configuration of the domain to be used in question.

Copy the DNS entry provided and insert it into the DNS Zone table of the domain in question. If the domain is on KingHost, enter it in the DNS table in the Control Panel, under Manage DNS.

Having DKIM configured correctly can increase the chances of messages reaching the destination inbox. To use DKIM, it is necessary to insert the TXT type registries provided in the Email Marketing dashboard.
