How to set up DMARC for People HR in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for People HR and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your People HR emails

With People HR, you can reply to application emails from your company's email address such as [email protected] only if you validated it.

If you don't set your preferred sending email address, by default, you send from [email protected].

Add your prefered email address as a sender

To add your preferred email address, follow the below steps:

  1. In People HR, click Settings.

  2. Click ATS.

  3. Click Email Settings.

  4. To register your domain, enter its name.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Specify one or more addresses you want to use as the sender.

Note: As you're sending emails generated from People HR to your applicants, you're sending them from our industrial strength email servers. For this reason, your preferred email address is listed in the From field, but our email server is the sender.

If you are having trouble setting up DKIM in People HR for your domain after you add your domain in People HR, please contact their support team so they can further hep you with the DKIM implementation.
