How to set up DMARC for Acoustic in Valimail

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for Acoustic and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your Acoustic emails

In order to set up DKIM in Acoustic for your domain/s, you will need to contact your Acoustic service owner.

The Acoustic Provisioning Team will generate all necessary SPF and DKIM records that you can then provide to your IT team for implementation.

Acoustic uses a 1024-bit encryption for its default DKIM key and the key they provide is a TXT key.

If you manage the DKIM record for your domain in Valimail, you will need to add the Acoustic TXT DKIM key in your domain's Configuration page in Valimail Enforce.

Configuring SPF authentication for your Acoustic emails

Once you establish that Acoustic is an authorized sender for your domain, you will need to add the service in your Enabled Senders.
