SPF(supported) / (dedicated subdomain)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for ConvertKit and how they are managed in Valimail Enforce. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Configuring DKIM authentication for your ConvertKit emails

1. Click your account name at the top right of the ConvertKit dashboard, followed by Settings. Then, click on Domains.

2. Click the Verify your domain button.

3. Enter the domain that you want to verify for sending, and click Next.

4. Add the records that appear to your domain's DNS records manager. For more information on this, see the Configuring your records section below.

Important: If you manage DKIM for your domain in Valimail, you will need to add the CNAME DKIM key on your domain's Configuration page in Valimail Enforce and any other records (if any), will go in your DNS.

5. Once you've added the records, click Validate.

6. If your records are set up correctly, you will receive a message that your sending domain is verified.
