SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)
This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for ReSci Cortex and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.
Configuring DKIM authentication for your ReSci Cortex emails
To setup DKIM for your ReSci Cortex emails, you will need 5 CNAME records for your Cortex integration. Examples are shown below:
Type: CNAME
Host Name: rs.yourbrand.com
Value: track.list-rs.com
Type: CNAME
Host Name: unsub.yourbrand.com
Value: esp.list-rs.com
Type: CNAME
Host Name: resci1.yourbrand.com
Value: resci1.ccsend.com
Type: CNAME
Host Name: ctct1._domainkey.yourbrand.com
Value: 100._domainkey.dkim1.ccsend.com
Type: CNAME
Host Name: ctct2._domainkey.yourbrand.com

rs.yourbrand.com - This enables our click tracking in emails.
unsub.yourbrand.com - This enables unique unsubscribe links for your brand.
resci1.yourbrand.com - This enables us to "sign" your emails as an authorized sender.
ctct1 & ctct2._domainkey.yourbrand.com - These are your Domain Key Identifiers for DKIM validation.
Contact their tech support if you do not know your domain key values.
NOTE: If you manage you domain in Valimail, you will need to add the 2 CNAME DKIM keys on your domain's configuration page in the Valimail platform and the record the 3 records will go in your DNS.
