How to set up DMARC for E-Zorg in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for E-Zorg and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your E-Zorg emails

These DNS records must be active before DKIM is activated.
Make sure the records in your DNS are active before submitting the form.
Management of the DNS records often falls under the domain holder.

Activate DKIM with default settings

The standard E-Zorg Selector and key is used for this.

DNS records to be created:

ezorgmail1._domainkey IN CNAME ezorgmail1._domainkey.ezorg.nl ezorgmail2._domainkey IN CNAME ezorgmail2._domainkey.ezorg.nl

NOTE: If you manage you domain in Valimail, you will need to add the 2 CNAME DKIM keys on your domain's configuration page in the Valimail platform.

After the keys are added for your domain, please contact E-Zorg to make sure they enable/activate the keys on their end.

Once you establish that E-Zorg is an authorized sender for your domain, you will need to add the service in your Enabled Senders.

Note: We encourage you to use the comment section for any useful information about your sending service, such as the name of the service owner, change request ticket numbers, etc.
