How to set up DMARC for Chargify in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(not supported?)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for Chargify and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring SPF authentication for your Chargify emails

Advanced Billing sets the “From” field in the e-mail to the address you specify in your site settings. However, because the e-mail comes from Chargify servers, the chargify.com DKIM & SPF will be used. For the vast majority of our customers, this means the message is considered authentic and will not be blocked by spam filters.

You will need to contact Chargify support and have them turn on SPF alignment for your domain.

Once you establish that Chargify is an authorized sender for your domain, you will need to add the service in your Enabled Senders.

You will find more detailed information on how to add a service for your domain in Valimail, here:

Note: We encourage you to use the comment section for any useful information about your sending service, such as the name of the service owner, change request ticket numbers, etc.
