Why it's safe to point SPF/DKIM/DMARC to Valimail
Updated over a year ago

Hosting these records to help customers is the core of our business.

  1. Valimail does not host your entire DNS. We only host SPF, DKIM and DMARC records after you give us permission with a one time change to your DNS records.

  2. You retain ultimate control of your DNS records. You can revoke the delegation of records at any time, by editing your own DNS records again so they don't point to Valimail at all.

  3. While Valimail is hosting these records, you have direct control over the configuration of SPF/DKIM/DMARC through our purpose-built interface.

  4. Due to the use of underscores in the DNS records themselves, the DNS protocol also prevents Valimail from hosting other services like Web/Mail etc.

  5. Valimail's infrastructure is globally resilient with POPs in Ireland, US (West and East) as well as South Korea.
