Org domains are your organization's top-level domains. Each Org domain will typically have a number of subdomains that will be used by various email services. In the context of DMARC, we can split Org domains into two categories:

  • Email sending domains, which are actively used for sending and receiving email.
  • Non-sending domains, which like the name suggests, are not actively used by your organization to send mail. Most of the time, these will consist of defensive domains that your organization has acquired in order to prevent third parties from using them for malicious purposes.

When you first sign up for Authenticate, you will need to add one of your domains, and you can add more domains after you create your account.
