Valimail supports Two-factor Authentication 2FA. There are two levels of authentication required to access the platform. This is a type of MFA (multi-factor authentication) and is done via Authy. You can find the steps for enabling Authy in this article.

Enabling Two-factor Authentication (2FA)

  • Log in to Valimail using an account that has owner-level permissions
  • Click Account Settings (the Gear icon on the left menu bar)
  • Under the General section, note the Account Security section on the right
  • Move the slider to the right- the ON position
  • Two-factor authorization is now enabled 



Disabling 2FA for your organization

  1. Log in to Valimail
  2. Click Account Settings (the Gear icon on the left menu bar)
  3. Under the General section, note the Account Security section on the right.
  4. Move the slider to the left/off position
  5. Two-factor authorization is now disabled
  6. You may need to refresh the page



Note
If your organization has enabled two-factor authentication at the company level, you will not be able to disable it for your account. Contact another admin in your organization with the appropriate permissions to disable two-factor authorization in your Valimail account.
