Valimail supports Two-factor Authentication 2FA. There are two levels of authentication required to access the platform. This is a type of MFA (multi-factor authentication) and is done via Authy. You can find the steps for enabling Authy in this article.

Enabling Two-factor Authentication (2FA)
- Log in to Valimail using an account that has owner-level permissions
- Click Account Settings (the Gear icon on the left menu bar)
- Under the General section, note the Account Security section on the right
- Move the slider to the right- the ON position
- Two-factor authorization is now enabled
Disabling 2FA for your organization
- Log in to Valimail
- Click Account Settings (the Gear icon on the left menu bar)
- Under the General section, note the Account Security section on the right.
- Move the slider to the left/off position
- Two-factor authorization is now disabled
- You may need to refresh the page
Note If your organization has enabled two-factor authentication at the company level, you will not be able to disable it for your account. Contact another admin in your organization with the appropriate permissions to disable two-factor authorization in your Valimail account.
