Mailgun requires special configuration actions outside of Authenticate. Please follow these steps to complete configuration for Mailgun, and then return to your automation-guided task list in Authenticate.



1. Make sure you have added Mailgun as an Approved Sender in Authenticate for the domain you are configuring it for. 


Note: If Mailgun has not been approved, please do so now by following these steps:


a. From the Senders section, click on + ADD SENDER FOR [your domain]

b. Choose Mailgun from the Service Name drop-down, and click ADD.







Steps to Setup DKIM for your domain in Mailgun



1. Login to your Mailgun account


2. Use the bar on the left to navigate to Sending -> Domain settings -> DNS records to find the DKIM public key(s) to copy to Authenticate.


3. Go to the Domains tab 


4. Add your domain in the Domain name box




5. On the domain settings page, you will find the DKIM records generated for your domain in the Domain Verification & DNS section.




6. Copy the DKIM record key value provided.



Publish the Mailgun DKIM key in Authenticate



7. Publish the DKIM in Authenticate as seen below:


a. Click Add DKIM Key



b. Enter the values for your DKIM key as provided by Mailgun.




8. Now go back to the browser tab where you're logged in to Mailgun and on the same DNS records screen, click on Verify DNS Settings



Once verified, you will be able to send properly authenticated emails with Mailgun on behalf of your domain.
