SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)
This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for FirstUp and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.
Configuring DKIM authentication for your FirstUp emails
To setup DKIM for your FirstUp emails, please sent an email to FirstUp support, and complete the following:
Provide the following information to Firstup:
Your company domain(s) that may now or in the future be used for the custom sender email address(es).
The email of the person that can install DNS records (DNS Contact).
The DNS Contact will receive an email from Firstup via SendGrid with the subject line "Can you help install these DNS records?" Install the DNS records contained in this email.
Send confirmation to [email protected] that the DNS records are installed.
Firstup will verify that the files and the setup are complete.
