How to set up DMARC for EZLynx in Valimail

Updated over a week ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for EZLynx and how they are managed in Valimail. Because this service leverages Sendgrid's email infrastructure, it requires additions to your DNS records outside of the Valimail platform. Adding EZLynx as an authorized sender in the Valimail platform usually requires a dedicated subdomain to be pointed to the Sendgrid infrastructure and typically the DKIM keys will be added in the Valimail platform.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your EZLynx emails

1. Hover over the Communication Center icon.

2. Click Settings.

3. Click the Custom Domains tab.

4. Click the Add Domain button.

5. Under Step One - Add Domain, input your domain into the domain.com box.

6. Click the Next button.

7. Under Step Two - Validate Changes, copy the DNS records and either provide them to your domain registrar or the company that manages your agency's website.

8. Click Save and Validate Later.

9. Once your domain registrar has inputted the DNS records on their end, come back into Step Two - Validate Changes and click the Validate button. You will see green check marks if everything has connected correctly.

โ€‹NOTE: If you manage you domain in Valimail, you will need to add the 2 CNAME DKIM keys on your domain's configuration page in the Valimail platform and the 3rd CNAME record will go in your DNS.
