How to set up DMARC for Freshsales CRM in Valimail

Updated over 5 months ago
SPF(supported)
DKIM(recommended)

This article covers the SPF and DKIM authentication processes for Freshsales CRM and how they are managed in Valimail. While only one of the two authentication methods is required for an email to pass DMARC, our recommendation is to configure both whenever possible.

Configuring DKIM authentication for your Freshsales CRM emails

1. Go to Admin Settings -> Domain Verification -> Click the Add domain button.

2. In the ADD DOMAIN box that appears, type in your domain name, and click Add.

3. In the Domain list section where your newly created domain appears, click the View DNS record button.

4. The CNAME records, along with their hostname and value, appear.

5. Go to your domain registrar's website. You can find your DNS provider using Whois service.

6. Login to the domain control panel. Find the page for updating your domain's DNS records. You can find it under DNS records. (Other possible names could be DNS Zone file, Advanced DNS, or something similar).

7. Open your DNS configuration settings.

8. Add the respective DKIM records from your account.
